CallPilot is an AI receptionist for service businesses. This page explains what we handle and how.
What we process
- Visitor conversations — messages sent to a business's CallPilot widget, including any contact or booking details the visitor chooses to share.
- Business knowledge — articles, services, hours, and policies a business publishes to ground its receptionist.
- Account information — the email and workspace identity needed to sign in and administer a tenant.
How we use it
To answer visitors from the business's approved knowledge, qualify inquiries, capture booking requests, and hand context to the business's team when escalation is needed. We do not sell visitor or customer data.
Tenant isolation
Each workspace is a separate tenant. Conversations, knowledge, and configuration are scoped to that tenant and are not shared between workspaces.
AI providers
Conversation messages are sent to the AI provider configured for the deployment in order to generate replies. We choose providers on the basis of data handling and reliability, and no provider is represented as connected when it is not.
Retention
Conversations and bookings are retained for the business that owns them so they can review inbox history, analytics, and audit records. A business may request deletion of its workspace data.
Your choices
Visitors are not required to create an account and are told they are interacting with an automated system. Contact the business whose widget you used to request removal of a specific conversation.
